The MassaSonic FlatPack Sensor provides continuous non-contact distance measurement of fluids, pastes, or solid bulk materials. Its low-profile design makes it ideal for constrained working zones with application ranges from 1 inch (25 mm) to 13 feet (4 m).
Dual-Transducer Sensor for Uneven Target Surfaces
Incorporating state-of-the-art dual-transducer ultrasonic technology and processing algorithms, all FlatPack Series Sensors provide precision measurement for uneven or turbulant surfaces in various applications, such as monitoring in-pipe flow levels. Additionally, where Single transducer sensors often struggle with measurement quality when it comes to reflections off uneven targets, Flatpack is able to ensure a high level of measurement accuracy in similar applications by utilizing a 15-degree beam angle in its dual-transducer design.
The Flatpack non-contact sensor is RoHS compliant, IP68 rated and comes in a PVC housing that is suitable for use in moderate chemical and harsh weather environments. These sensors also come with an integrated mounting plate for easy installation. All models are equipped with continuous temperature compensation to ensure precise speed of sound calibration and measurement accuracy. Other features include diagnostic and monitoring outputs as well as protection from over voltage, short circuits, and reverse polarity.
